CopyWrite works very closely with its clients to develop and manage content for all sorts of media, including portals, from concept right through to its final stage. As content managers, we are responsible for researching, writing, editing, conducting quality assurance as well as regularly updating material on the website or portal.
Since 2005, CopyWrite has been content manager for the first Arabic web-based health communication portal (www.sehetna.com), a pioneer initiative in the Arab world. It is an exciting, interactive medium that engages the public in the realm of health, equipping them with information and tools so they can maintain a healthy lifestyle. This initiative is led by the Jordan Health Communication Partnership (with technical assistance from Johns Hopkins University) and Jordan's Ministry of Health.
Since July 2008, CopyWrite has been content manager in a year-long project aimed at localizing an educational brain and spinal cord prevention curriculum--Think First. This is a Canadian creation. In Jordan, this e-project is running through the Royal Health Awareness Society. CopyWrite is localizing the curriculum for students from grades KG-8, which will eventually be deployed in all Jordanian schools as part of the government's e-education program. The project also involves teachers and parents.
